1. be helpful in doing sth. 對做某事有幫助。如：

2. It is helpful (for sb.) to do sth. 做某事(對某人)是有幫助的。如： It is helpful to discuss your problems with your friends.

called 在這里為過去分詞作后置定語，意為“被稱為，被叫做”。

6. 表示提建議的幾種句型：

Why don’t + 主語+ 動詞原形? = Why not +動詞原形? 為什么不……呢?

How about doing sth? = What about doing sth.? ……怎么樣呢?

You should + 動詞原形. 你應(yīng)該……

It’s a good/great/wonderful/fantastic… idea to do sth. 做某事是一個好主意。

答語：That’s a good idea. Sounds great.

數(shù)詞+more+名詞復(fù)數(shù)=another + 數(shù)詞+名詞復(fù)數(shù) 又……，再……

11. else要放在不定代詞(something, anything, someone, anyone, somebody, anybody,

somewhere, anywhere)、副詞(where)、疑問詞(who, what……)之后

關(guān)于如何提高成績的一些建議。

on, about 意思都為“關(guān)于”，但是介詞on后跟比較專業(yè)的內(nèi)容。

疑問詞+ to do 不定式 可以做主語、表語、賓語。

eg. I don’t know where to go. (做賓語) 我不知道該去哪里。

Where to live is a problem.(主語)在哪里住是一個問題。

The problem is what to do. (表語) 問題是該做什么。

15. suggest doing sth = suggest +(that)+ sb. (should) + 動詞原形

建議某人做某事 suggestion 為可數(shù)名詞 “建議”

advise sb. (not) to do sth. 建議某人(不)做某事

2. get out of …從……內(nèi)出來

3. go through 穿過(物體內(nèi)部)go across = cross 穿過(物體表面)

4. nothing to see 什么也看不到 to do 不定式可以作后置定語修飾前面的名詞、代詞

eg. I have a lot of homework to do. 我有很多的作業(yè)要做。

5. in front of 在(物體外部的)前面 in the front of 在(物體內(nèi)部的)前面

6. go the right way 走正確的道路go the wrong way 走錯誤的道路

7. in +時間段“在……之后(內(nèi))”，用于將來時 對該結(jié)構(gòu)提問要用 how soon.

8. look over 仔細(xì)檢查look across 眺望look after 照顧、照看look out (of) 小心、當(dāng)心 look like 看起來像 look up向上看/查閱(字典)look down (at) 俯視、向下看look around 環(huán)顧四周 look for 尋找 look forward to 盼望look down upon/on 看不起
